What is a Jet Pulse Filter?
A Jet Pulse Filter (baghouse) is an industrial dust collection system that eliminates 99.9% of dust and particulates generated during heavy industry operations like cement, steel, mining, and food processing by using compressed air shocks.
- Working Principle: As dirty air passes through the exterior of filter bags, dust is collected on the surface while clean air is exhausted out.
- Automated Cleaning (Jet Pulse): High-pressure compressed air is injected into the filter bags for fractions of a second via timed valves, knocking the accumulated dust cake into the bottom hopper.
- Advantages: Offers continuous 24/7 operation, self-cleans without interrupting the system, and extends maintenance intervals.
- Applications: Pneumatic conveying lines, silo filling stations, fly ash filtration, and crushing-screening facilities.
DUCON KM Chamber Jet Pulse Bag Filters
Jet pulse chamber bag filters are offered with 2 chambers to 24 chambers cylindrical bags for high flow and difficult to clean dust filtration. Bag sizes are 130 diameter, 160mm and lengths are produced from 3 to 10m. We have a land production of 50000 m3/h to 6000000m3/h. The most important feature is that the compartment can be closed and maintenance can be done without stopping the system. Body structures are produced in carbon steel, corten stainless steel, externally reinforced and resistant to 80 mb vacuum according to operating characteristics. Design Criteria Our company takes the following criteria into consideration when designing KM chamber jet pulse bag filters.
Gas flow rate
Gas temperature
Inlet dust load,
Outlet dust load
Abrasiveness, stickiness, micron size density of dust
Dust absorption sources
Longest distance
Installation location is open or closed area
Geographical situation
Structural feature
DUCON KM chamber jet pulse bag filters have a standard operating feature of 120 m2 up to 280 degrees. Panel manufacturing can be assembled in a field suitable for land and sea transportation.
