Industrial air emissions in Turkey are regulated by the Regulation on Control of Industrial Air Pollution (SKHY), harmonized with the EU Industrial Emissions Directive (IED).

Key emission parameters established for different industries include particulate matter (10-50 mg/Nm³), SO₂ (200-400 mg/Nm³), NOx (200-500 mg/Nm³), and VOC (20-50 mg/Nm³).

Industrial facilities must obtain an environmental permit to operate legally. This involves EIA report preparation, emission measurements, application to provincial environmental directorate, and final audit and approval.
